The Hills Living Space
This home underwent a dramatic transformation from a dark, compartmentalized layout with multiple small, closed-in rooms into one expansive open-concept living space (See before photos - link below). Originally defined by heavy arches, warm tan walls, and dark finishes that visually segmented the areas, the remodel stripped away the visual weight and embraced a bright, airy palette. By removing unnecessary divisions and repainting in crisp whites, the design now highlights the soaring ceilings and architectural details, creating a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas. Light oak floors replace the heavy dark wood, softening the overall aesthetic and reflecting natural light throughout. The stone fireplace becomes a striking focal point, balanced by modern furnishings, layered textures, and a cohesive blend of comfort and sophistication—ultimately turning the once fragmented rooms into a welcoming, cohesive, and highly functional gathering space.
